CRESTING

A comprehensive list of crests and their characteristics can be found here. Once crested, you will have the opportunity to change your character's housing to their crest specific housing located here. A list of crest holders can also be found here.

Cresting is an essential part of Terminal Tokyo. You need it if you want to get stronger! True to Digimon fashion we are not letting players of the character in cresting question suggest/pick a crest. No, we are stalking you guys instead! All you need to do is play your character to the best of your ability. We will crest accordingly.

Crests are, essentially, your character's most powerful good trait. It doesn't have to be something they show all the time or comes easily to them. It could be something that they struggle with being. Like a coward trying to be strong. A crest doesn't mean they're good, but it's the best trait in them.

Crests are what channels your power into your partner's. They will not work if you're not feeling courageous, but you have the Crest of Courage. Their power works off the greatest trait you show (that can be crested). The more you believe in the trait, the more your Digimon will be able to digivolve.

**Note that there are 10 crests in total in America while Purity is Mimi's Japanese one and Reliability Jyou's American. Desire, Miracles, and Fate are originally seen as Armor Digi-Eggs, but as the others can be crests are being treated as such, as well.

To obtain your crest you must first be in the game for at least three months. After which you can apply here to start the cresting process. Mods will already be trying to stalk you and taking notes on where you can go, but this is just the official way. After you have applied here to crest it may take hours, days, or even a few weeks before you're crested. It will be no more than three weeks after you applied that you will receive your crest. This is because we want to find an appropriate thread to post in for your crest to appear. Because of this in applying you are giving consent for mods to just come in and be like "A LIGHT SHINES! NARUTO RECEIVES THE CREST OF FRIENDSHIP!"

While you can't vote for yourself-- you can vote for others! This will help the mods be able to sort cresting possibilities out faster and give a wider range of options/opinions. Because this isn't an application, the three month rule doesn't count. You can nominate people any time! We only ask that you refrain from anonymous comments, so we can make sure no one's nominating themselves. Please note that all comments are screened for the sake of suggestions not influencing a wide section of the game.
